The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele has convened an urgent security stakeholders’ meeting aimed at strengthening the security architecture of the local government and safeguarding the lives and properties of residents across the council area.
The strategic meeting, held at the Local Government Secretariat brought together traditional rulers, security agencies, religious leaders, community stakeholders and other critical actors in the security sector to deliberate on proactive measures towards maintaining peace and addressing emerging security concerns within Ibarapa Central.


















In his address, Hon. Olusola Adeleke emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a secure environment.




He urged residents to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious movement or unfamiliar persons within their communities to the appropriate security agencies.
The Chairman commended the dedication and professionalism of all security operatives serving in Ibarapa Central, acknowledging their sacrifices and contributions toward maintaining peace and order.





He, however, challenged them to intensify their efforts and continue working collaboratively to stay ahead of criminal elements.
The meeting witnessed robust deliberations, with participants sharing valuable insights, observations, and practical recommendations aimed at enhancing security across the local government.
Various suggestions and workable solutions were presented and extensively discussed as part of a broader strategy to strengthen community-based security initiatives.
Among the security agencies and groups represented at the meeting were the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Operation Burst, Amotekun Corps, Vigilante Group, Hunters Association, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Nigeria Immigration Service, and Agbekoya Security Corps.
Also in attendance were the Olu of Igboora, the Onidere of Idere, religious leaders, community stakeholders, political office holders and other prominent personalities committed to the peace, progress and development of Ibarapa Central Local Government.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work together in promoting peace, strengthening intelligence gathering, and ensuring that Ibarapa Central remains safe and secure for all residents.
