The Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Ibadan Southwest Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olakunle Akinsete, has emphasized the importance of continuity, collaboration, and people-centered leadership following a meeting with the incumbent lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon. Fowokanmi.

Akinsete described the engagement as a productive and insightful session with a leader he holds in high esteem. He noted that discussions centered on the progress recorded in the constituency and strategies for advancing development, youth empowerment, and professional governance.








 

According to Akinsete, the conversation provided an opportunity to reflect on achievements within Ibadan Southwest Constituency II while exploring new ideas that could further improve the welfare of residents.




He commended Hon. Fowokanmi for his dedication to public service and acknowledged the valuable contributions and foundation he has laid for the constituency through his representation at the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The APM candidate further reiterated his belief that sustainable progress in Oyo State can only be achieved when public office holders prioritize service above personal interests.
