The Allied People’s Movement (APM) House of Assembly Candidate for Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, has extended warm birthday wishes to a former Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant for Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2, Hon. Babatunde George Ige, describing him as a remarkable brother whose life reflects simplicity, humanity, and genuine service to the people.
In a goodwill message made available to the public, Hon. Akinsete expressed joy in celebrating Hon. Babatunde George Ige who is also a board member of Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), noting that he is a man whose political and personal lifestyle consistently prioritizes the welfare of others above all else.
According to him, Hon. Ige stands out as a unique politician who does not subscribe to “do-or-die” politics, but rather believes in peaceful engagement, community development, and the collective well-being of his constituents and immediate environment.
He added that the celebrant’s approach to politics is centered on impact, unity, and development rather than rivalry or unnecessary political tension.
Hon. Akinsete further described Hon. Babatunde George Ige’s political journey as one worthy of emulation, stressing that he consistently places community contribution above political competition.
He said this rare quality makes him a stabilizing and respected figure within his political space.
