Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Ibadan southwest constituency II has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful and residents of the constituency as they celebrate the 2026 Eid al-Adha festival.
In a goodwill message released to mark the blessed occasion, Hon. Olakunle described Eid al-Adha as a sacred season of sacrifice, obedience, love, and reflection, urging the people to embrace the spiritual values the festival represents.
He expressed appreciation to the good people of Ibadan South West Constituency 2 for their continued support, unity, and commitment to the growth and development of the constituency, noting that collective efforts remain key to sustaining progress in the area.
He further called on residents to remember the constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria in their prayers, seeking divine guidance for leaders and praying for peace, security, stability, and prosperity across all levels of governance.
According to him, the season offers an opportunity for renewed hope and togetherness, as well as a reminder of the importance of selflessness and faith in building a stronger society.
