The Political Head of Irepodun Local Council Development Authority, LCDA, Hon. Olufemi Olayinka Oladejo, (Bantu), has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of residents, with particular focus on students across the council area.

Hon. Oladejo made this known during the distribution of first aid boxes to pupils in selected schools within the LCDA, describing the initiative as part of ongoing efforts to promote safety and proper care within the learning environment.

According to him, ensuring the well-being of schoolchildren remains a key responsibility of his administration.








 

Hon. Oladejo noted that, in spite of limited financial resources, the council proceeded with the intervention as a demonstration of its dedication to grassroots development.




He explained that the provision of first aid materials would help create a safer and more supportive atmosphere for pupils, while also equipping schools to respond promptly to minor health emergencies.

The LCDA boss added that further assistance would be extended to schools in the near future.

In their separate remarks, head teachers of the benefiting schools expressed appreciation for the gesture, commending the Political Head for what they described as a timely and thoughtful intervention.

 

 

 


The head teachers also offered prayers in different languages and pledged their continued support for his administration.

Present at the event were the Political Head, Hon. Olufemi Olayinka Oladejo, the Assistant Secretary, Orebirin Adewumi Olu, and the Head of Local Government Administration, Engr. Waheed Adeola Adesola, the Director of Administration and General Services, Mr Ganiyu Alimi, the Director of Finance and Supplies, Mrs Ayoola Oluwatoyin, the Director of Education and Social Services, as well as other deputies and Heads of Units.
