The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has felicitated with His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1, on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, describing him as the epitome of Ibadan’s enviable heritage of courage, resilience, and greatness.
Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple noted that Kabiyesi’s journey through the unique chieftaincy ladder of Ibadan exemplifies the city’s ethos of patience, discipline, and dignity.
“In Kabiyesi, we see the courage of our warriors, the wisdom of our elders, and the patience of our fathers.
He has lived through turbulent political waters, yet he stands firm today as the custodian of Ibadan’s cultural heritage,” Simple said.
He further prayed that the reign of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa 1) would mark the beginning of greater prosperity, unity, and development for Ibadanland.
