The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm greetings to pupils and students across primary and secondary schools within the council area as they resumed for a new academic term today.

In his goodwill message made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described education as the “bedrock of development” and urged students to return to school with renewed energy, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

He emphasized that learning and character-building go hand in hand in preparing future leaders.

While commending teachers and parents for their sacrifices and dedication, the council boss called for stronger collaboration to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for children to thrive.



 

“As a government, we remain committed to supporting education and ensuring that every child in Ibadan North has access to quality learning opportunities that will shape their future and contribute positively to society,” Hon. Olufade assured.

He further wished pupils, students, teachers, and parents a successful academic term, expressing optimism that the resumption would mark the beginning of greater knowledge, growth, and achievements.

“Welcome back to school, and may your dreams find wings to soar,” he concluded.
