The Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has joined millions of faithful across Yorubaland and beyond to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere.

This was contained in a heartfelt press statement personally signed by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, in which he extolled the virtues of the revered cleric, describing him as “a spiritual compass, an embodiment of wisdom, and a living symbol of Islamic excellence whose leadership continues to inspire generations.”

Chief Sanusi commended the Chief Imam’s lifelong commitment to Islamic propagation, peacebuilding, and moral guidance, noting that his impactful leadership has strengthened the religious fabric of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the entire Southwest region.

“On this glorious occasion of Baba Imam’s birthday anniversary, I celebrate a father in faith, a beacon of light, and a custodian of righteousness.

His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, has not only led us in prayers but has guided us with divine wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to Allah’s service,” the statement read.

Chief Sanusi also reaffirmed his personal admiration and continued support for the Imam’s spiritual mission, citing their shared vision for the advancement of Islam and the growth of the Agbotomokekere Central Mosque as a sacred legacy for future generations.

“May Almighty Allah grant His Eminence long life in good health, increase him in knowledge, and strengthen him to continue his invaluable role as the spiritual light of our land,” he concluded.
