The Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and member representing Ona Ara State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi, has hosted a Ramadan lecture for his constituents.

The event, which took place in Ona Ara Local Government, aimed at reinforcing the teachings of good deeds during and after the holy month of Ramadan.

In his welcome speech, Hon. Fadeyi expressed gratitude to the attendees for honoring the invitation.

He highlighted the significance of the Ramadan lecture in fostering moral and spiritual growth, urging participants to uphold the virtues of kindness and unity.

Reaffirming his commitment to quality representation and the development of Ona Ara State Constituency, he appreciated the support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders, executives, and members in the local government.

The Deputy Speaker also underscored the importance of party unity, calling on PDP faithful to remain steadfast and united ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He further commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his transformative leadership in Oyo State, acknowledging his developmental strides across various sectors.

The guest lecturer delivered an insightful talk on the benefits of engaging in good deeds, encouraging attendees to internalize the message and reflect it in their daily lives.

Hon. Bakare Mosobalaje, the PDP Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, applauded Hon. Fadeyi for organizing the Ramadan lecture and for his impactful representation of Ona Ara State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

As part of the event, Hon. Fadeyi also hosted an Iftar session, bringing together constituents, PDP executives, leaders, and members to break their fast in a spirit of togetherness.

The program had in attendance notable personalities, including the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Hon. Temitope Kolapo Glorious; Vice Chairman, Hon. Windapo Oluyole; Hon. Musibau Sanusi Saba, immediate past Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government; all councilors, supervisory councilors, special assistants, secretary and assistant secretary of ona ara local government, Hon. Oke, Party Chairman , Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, SSA to Governor Seyi Makinde on SDG, Chief Adurodekun, Party leaders, executives and members.

The father of the day was Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, a respected party leader, who also graced the occasion with his presence.

The event reinforced the essence of Ramadan—compassion, unity, and spiritual reflection—while also strengthening political solidarity within the constituency.
