Throughout history, individuals have volunteered their time, energy, and resources to advance causes they hold dear, often without expectation of personal gain.
This selflessness is a declaration to the human spirit’s capacity for compassion, empathy, and collective progress.
In the realm of politics, support groups and movements have been instrumental in driving change, fueled by the dedication of individuals who prioritise the greater good.
I am humbled to be the rallying point of the Aseyori Support Group (ASG), a huge community of patriots united by a shared commitment to creating a beautiful tomorrow for Oyo state.
Our members trust in my leadership and are driven by a deep-seated desire to uplift our state, the belief in my ideological orientation about governance and politics, which truly transcends personal interests.
This collective passion has led to an influx of volunteers joining ASG, eager to contribute their skills, expertise, and time.
Nothing could have been more humbling
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024 was another bright day, one of those days that validated that we are on track and doing the right thing.
ASG launched and inaugurated members, our Local Government Coordinators and Ward Representatives of AKK Oyo Central Senatorial District.
The impressive turnout shows the widespread enthusiasm for a political movement that prioritises the aspirations and well-being of Oyo state’s citizens.
This momentum is no doubt an affirmation to the power of visionary leadership and the desire for meaningful change.
I extend my sincerest gratitude to the individuals who have stepped forward to champion the AKK narratives across Oyo state.
I recognise the challenges and demands of this task and commend their willingness to dedicate time, expertise, and resources.
Their commitment is an example of selflessness and dedication to our shared vision.
I acknowledge the accomplishments of these individuals in their respective fields and careers, and their decision to commit to this project is truly commendable for me, it melts my heart.
Oyo South Senatorial district would be launched on my arrival in January and number of leaders would be welcomed, merged and launched to join the existing two senatorial districts leaders and coordinators (Oyo North and Oyo Central).
Our AKK State Congress would be held next year 2025.
AKK house would also start functioning to support effective mobilisation across our state, though the official commissioning of the AKK House would be later in the year.
To everyone inaugurated on Tuesday 17th December, 2024 and those already working tirelessly within ASG across various geopolitical zones of our dear state, I urge you to remain steadfast in your commitment to our roadmap and strategy.
The AKK Project and ASG movement welcome all who share our purpose: bringing progress and prosperity to Oyo state. We can position for ourselves and the generation to come, a structure built on the principles of trust, transparency, prosperity and collective growth.
