The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Falana Adebowale Adebayo, has lauded the efforts of the Muyiwa Bamgbose Academy (MBA) for its commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Youth advocacy stated this at a recent event held at Government College, Apata, Ibadan, Prince Falana emphasized the importance of investing in youth leadership development as a cornerstone for a brighter future.

The Muyiwa Bamgbose Academy is an organization dedicated to training and mentoring young students from various secondary schools across the state. The academy focuses on developing leadership skills, social relationships, sex education, and proper etiquette to help students excel in all facets of life.

Earlier in his address, Prince Falana expressed his admiration for the academy’s mission and praised the organizers for their foresight and dedication.

According to him; “It is commendable to see an organization taking such deep and meaningful steps to groom the leaders of tomorrow,” he stated.

“Governor Seyi Makinde is a youth-friendly leader who has created an enabling environment for the cognitive development of this to thrive, giving room for other people to invest in future leaders.

Recognizing the importance of human capital development, implementing policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the intellectual and creative capacities of the State’s citizens.

His Excellency revitalized the education sector to promote digital literacy geared towards empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to succeed in today’s fast-paced world.

Through these, Governor Makinde has demonstrated his dedication to unlocking the full potential of Ã’yó state’s human resources by creating an enabling environment for cognitive development, helping to build a more informed, creative, and innovative society, one that is equipped to thrive in the 21st century.

He, however, urged the students to apply the teachings from the academy’s boot camp to their daily lives, noting that these lessons would serve as valuable tools for their growth and success in society.

Other dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Victor Olojede, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs; Hon. Shete, Special Assistant to the Governor on Estate; Engr. Femi Afolabi; Asiwaju YSO Oladunni; and Abioye Epo. Their presence underscored the importance of the academy’s work and the broader community’s support for youth development in Oyo State.
