Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and member representing Ibadan North West/Ibadan South-West federal constituency in the House of Representative under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has reaffirmed his confidence in the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, describing him as the supreme authority whose decisions are final and binding on all party members.

Speaking on a live studio programme on Lagelu FM, Hon. Olajide fielded questions from callers and listeners, reiterating his support for Makinde’s leadership and the party’s vision for the state.

According to him, “PDP in Oyo State is on the path to greatness, and Governor Makinde is the driver of this vision,” Hon. Olajide declared.

“His decision is final and binding on all party members, and we are confident that under his leadership, our party will emerge stronger and better.”

When asked about the current challenges facing the party, Hon. Olajide dismissed them as mere teething problems, assuring listeners that the party was working tirelessly to address them.

“What we are experiencing now is just a matter of time.

We are building a strong and formidable party, and this requires patience and dedication from all members,” he explained.

Hon. Olajide also commended Governor Makinde for his leadership style, describing him as a true democrat who listens to the opinions and views of all party members.

“Governor Makinde is a leader who carries everyone along, and his commitment to the party’s success is unwavering,” he said.

“We are proud to have him as our leader, and we will continue to support him in his quest to build a better Oyo State.”

The programme, which lasted for 2 hours saw Hon. Olajide fielding questions on various issues affecting the party and the state, including the recent local government elections, the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, and the state government’s policies and programmes.

Hon. Olajide maintained his confidence in the party’s ability to overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger and better under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
