The Chairman-elect of Lagelu local government area, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru on Wednesday announced his transition and inauguration planning team, with a brief from the Chairman-elect’s office stating that the transition committee will be led by Dr. Babatunde Obideji, one time campaign DG to Governor Seyi Makinde in the 2023 guber election in Lagelu— and the inauguration planning committee by Hon Jide Adeniran who served as campaign DG to the Chairman-elect in the 2024 local government election.

The creation of the Transition and Inauguration planning committee gives Hon. Kamorudeen a formal structure through which to undertake the tasks necessary in the orderly transition into executive office of the local government— it has also been stated as an enabler for the committee members to working hand-in-hand with the outgoing chairman and his team for a detailed transfer of power to the new administration.

In a brief that followed the announcement of the two committees, the chairman-elect, Hon. Kamorudeen said members shortlisted on the two committees have significant government administration experience which will serve well in the transition and inauguration process.
