In a remarkable shower of endorsements for the People’s Choice Chairmanship candidate of the PDP for the upcoming local government elections in the Atiba council area, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem and his vice, Badmus Ismail Olaide, have received overwhelming support from Oyo Ifelodun Cattle dealers, Kajola-Itesiwaju Goat Dealers, Ifesowapo Multi-purpose Foodstuff Association (IMPTA), and Kajola Plank Sellers in Saabo, Oyo township.

Yesterday, in a diverse display of support from different associations that control the economic landscape of the Royal Council, the union endorsed the Atiba PDP candidate for their all-inclusive manifestos and promised to deliver bloc votes massively.

In their separate remarks, the Chairmen of Oyo Ifelodun Cattle Dealers, Saabo Kara, Oyo, Alhaji Waheed Ishola Bola, Kajola-Itesiwaju Goat Dealers, Alhaji Dahud Salam, IMPTA Emmanuel Adejare JP, and Kajola Plank Seller Pa. Ezekiel Adejare lauded the Governor for his unprecedented development across all sectors in the state, creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, applying tax breaks, credits, and waivers to attract more businesses to Oyo State.

“We’re glad to endorse your candidacy, despite your enduring pain and fatigue. We can perceive the reserved instinct of Wabkem/Olaide, driven by their commitment to improving grassroots governance, championing the cause of democratic dividends, as well as a passion for all-round development.

“This is your moment; we stand with you every step of the way. We believe that if Engr Seyi Makinde provides necessary allocations to the local government, your performance will be top-notch.”

They urged the candidate to prioritize local roads, as commuters and motorists are suffering, stressing that all farm roads aren’t accessible.

The Union head also solicits government empowerment, loans, and grants to aid their business to further control the productive economy in the state and most especially Atiba Local Government.

Addressing the union on behalf of the PDP party chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Alesinladu hailed the separate associates for their outpouring of endorsements for the PDP Chairmanship and Councilorship candidate in Atiba, assuring them of unwavering commitment to good governance at the local level.

Equally, the Chairmanship candidate, Hon Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, and his vice, Hon Badmus Ismail Olaide seized the opportunity to articulate their vision for Royal Council residents, with a conviction to project all-inclusive governance.

Wabkem/Olaide lauded the endorsement and articulated a vision for infrastructural development in Atiba, making the council a beacon of democratic excellence, addressing the suffering of the people, and identifying the electorate’s profound commitment to shaping the future of the council.
