The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Councilorship candidate for Ward 12, Sulaimon Ajao, popularly known as “Moonlight,”has erected and unveiled a signboard for the Bodija Primary Health Care Center Ilupeju.

The unveiling, which took place today, marks a significant step towards enhancing healthcare visibility and accessibility in the area.

Speaking at the unveiling, Hon. Ramon Lanase, Chairman of PDP in Ward 12, expressed his delight at Moonlight’s commitment to community development. He hailed Moonlight’s initiative as a precursor to delivering more democratic dividends once elected into office.

Moonlight, addressing the rationale behind his action, emphasized the importance of proactivity in addressing community needs. He stated, “I visited the center to assess its condition, and I was informed about several needs, including a canopy and chairs for pregnant women attending antenatal care. Additionally, I promised to help erect a more conspicuous signboard.

Today, I have fulfilled that promise. I am very optimistic that when I assume office as the councilor of Ward 12 by God’s grace in the forthcoming local government election, I will address all other demands.”

Mrs. Kadija, the matron at the health center, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I appreciate PDP Councilorship candidate Sulaimon Ajao, ‘Moonlight,’ for fulfilling his promise. I pray for his victory in the forthcoming election and for his continued success.”

The unveiling witnessed the presence of key community figures, including representatives of Ilupeju Landlord Association, Alhaji Shitu Abiola and Alhaji Ramoni, Ward 12 PDP Chairman Lanase Ramoni, Vice Chairman Olasupo Sarafa, Secretary-General Jimoh Fatai, Financial Secretary Oyero Surajudeen, Gafari Yusuff, Ismaila Habitat, Adeoti Adijat, Dupe Tijani, and others.

Moonlight’s proactive approach to community service exemplifies a promising future for Ward 12, with hopes of improved healthcare facilities and overall development under his leadership.
