The Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Nurudeen Abeo, has heap-praised Demola Ojo Ijaiya’s courageous leap on the recent resuscitation of ‘EXPOYO 2024’ after fifteen years in moribund stage.

Ijaiya, who is Governor Seyi Makinde’s Commissioner for Trade, Investments Industry & Cooperatives, recently launched “ISE DOTUN” and unveiled “EXPOYO 2024,” an international trade fair that will open on February 23, 2024.

Describing the initiative as laudable, the Iyaloja General, Princess Abeo noted that the Omituntun administration’s Think-tank and capable hands were the cornerstone upon which Governor Seyi Makinde’s unprecedented stream of achievements, relentlessly coming in all areas of governance was built.

According to her, the brilliant revival after it had been in a moribund stage since 2009, has demonstrated the competence of the new Commissioner for Trade, Investments, Industry, & Cooperatives.

While commending the Commissioner for being a member of the administration’s Think-Tank on sustainable development, the Iyaloja General stressed that the 2024 International Trade Fair will restore the key economic drive of the state.

She acknowledged that one of the many benefits of the EXPOYO is that it attracts business enthusiasts and stakeholders, commending Governor Makinde for creating a contact with industry captains, manufacturers, exporters, and micro, small, and medium-sized businesses to foster collaboration and create opportunities for business growth.

According to the Iyaloja General, the Governor will keep receiving commendation from market women and artisans for showcasing yet another creative plan for Oyo State’s economic revitalization and realignment.

She said the revival of EXPOYO is simply another example of the pragmatic leadership the state has been experiencing since Governor Makinde took office, adding that it is a further testament to the makeup of Think-tanks driving the Omituntun 2.0 Agenda.
