In anticipation of the upcoming local government elections in Oyo State, Supervisory Councilors and Special Assistants from Atiba local government have thrown their weight behind Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji for Council Chairmanship and his vice, Badmus Olaide Ismail.
In a statement released to Heritage Echo News, the Council appointees expressed their endorsement based on a unanimous understanding of the democratic policy document presented by the Chairmanship candidate. They highlighted his commitment to “all-inclusive governance” for the residents of the royal council.
Hon. Rafiu Tijani, speaking on behalf of the Supervisory Councilors, emphasized that their decision was the result of careful deliberations and an examination of the candidate’s policy document, focusing on accessibility and a deep understanding of the political terrain to transform the royal council.
