Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo(RAD), PDP Chieftaincy in Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency in Oyo State on Tuesday conferred with a traditional chieftaincy title, “YEYE BOBATOLU OF EJESI, ILE-IFE”, by HRM Oba Babatunde Adetokunbo Aremu Awosunle, Elejesi of Ejesi, Ile Ife.
The conferment of the chieftaincy title by the royal father and his Council of Chiefs, was part of the activities to mark the 10th years on throne of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetokunbo Aremu Awosunle and his birthday celebration.
The royal father noted that the chieftaincy title was borne out of the tremendous and outstanding performances she has shown the community.
The Council of Obas eulogized Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo(RAD) for her kind-hearted and good representation, which has attracted the attention of the council of chiefs to honour her with the chieftaincy title.
Hon. RAD prayed fervently for the Oba and the entire Council of Chiefs.
In her remarks, Hon Ramata Agberemi Dabo(RAD) expressed gratitude to the royal father and the Council of Chiefs for finding her worthy to be honored with the great and well hallowed chieftaincy title, saying it would spur her to be more committed to selfless service to her people.
Furthermore, Hon. RAD present His Royal Majesty, Oba Adetokunbo Aremu Awosunle with gifts for the celebration of his birthday and He was very amazed seeing the gifts.
To the conferment of the Chieftaincy Title were Members of G18, Oyo State Female Aspirants & Candidates, Akinyele LG PDP Women Leaders, Lagelu LG PDP Women Leaders, GSMists led by Hon. Olajide Royal Umbrella, Hon. Kobiowu team and members of Team RAD among others.
