Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, the Executive Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head of Ajorosun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has officially assumed office.

In his first day, Simple met with the staff and assured them of a collaborative and effective working relationship aimed at elevating the LCDA to new heights.

The arrival of Hon. Simple was greeted with joy and enthusiasm by the council staff, who welcomed him warmly.

In his address, Simple emphasized the importance of unity and shared goals in achieving the council’s objectives.

“Our success hinges on our ability to work together seamlessly,” he stated. “I promise to maintain a smooth relationship with all of you as we strive to take Ajorosun LCDA to greater heights.”

In a gesture of support, the Omituntun Youth Movement of Egbeda Local Government presented Simple with a picture artwork featuring his image. Expressing his gratitude, Simple reiterated his commitment to fostering strong human relations within the council.

Several dignitaries attended the assumption ceremony, including his wife, Mrs. Idowu Sekinat Oladebo Simple, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele Lajuee; Chief Mrs. Jumoke Lawal (Mama Pineapple); Barrister Akinsanmi; Hon. Ladi Adisa Siyanbola; and the Chief of Staff, Hon. Lekan Bello–Oyo Central Senatorial Youth Leader. The event also saw the presence of Ward Chairmen led by Chief Olawale Alawe, Egbeda PDP Women Leader Alhaja Mariam Onikede, Egbeda PDP exco led by the secretary Mr. Sangotunde Kilani aka Kandukandu and various social-political groups such as Omi-Tuntun Youth Movement (OYM), Lajúẹẹ Ladies, and G’12. Councillors, community and religious leaders, and the HLGA Egbeda Local Government, Pastor O.O. Olaoye, along with other directors, were also in attendance.

Simple’s assumption of office marks a new chapter for Ajorosun Local council development area, with expectations high for a period of growth and development driven by cohesive teamwork and strategic leadership.
