Adebowale Falana, popularly known as “Prince,” has been officially appointed as the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.

Falana received his appointment letter today at the Oyo State Secretariat from Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, the Chief of Staff.

Accompanied by friends, family, and political associates, Falana expressed his gratitude to God and Governor Seyi Makinde for the opportunity.

He extended heartfelt thanks to his supporters and vowed to leverage the position to improve the lives of the youth in Oyo State.

Falana stopped by the offices of Hon. Babajide Gabriel, Oyo State House of Assembly member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, and Hon. Comforter Olajide, representing Ibadan North Constituency 1.

He also met with Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, to discuss future collaborations and initiatives.

Following the receipt of his appointment letter, Falana paid a visit to Otunba Seye Famojuro, whom he regards as his mentor and backbone.

Overwhelmed with joy, Falana conveyed his deep appreciation to Famojuro, promising to diligently serve the youth of Oyo State.

Famojuro, in turn, lauded Falana for his loyalty and wished him success in his new role.

Falana then proceeded to the Youth Development Agency headquarters to assume his duties.

He toured the facility, met with staff, and emphasized his commitment to an open-door policy.

The staff welcomed him warmly, pledging their support to achieve the agency’s goals.

Falana’s first day was marked by prayers for a successful tenure.

Those who accompanied Falana included his wife, Mrs Falana Elizabeth Oluwaseun, Hon. Babajide Gabriel (Oyo House of Assembly member), Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade (Ibadan North Chairman-elect), Michael Ogunsina (Oyo State PDP Youth Leader), Hon. Julian Nwachuku (Special Adviser to the Governor on Ibadan North Federal Constituency), Hon. Kazeem Oshoniyi (former Aare Latosa LCDA Caretaker Chairman), hon. Abiola Sunday, Ibadan North ward 11 councillor, Hon. Abiodun Agboluaje, and Hon. Joshua Oladapo, Prof T, Engineer Femi Afolabi, Alpacino, coded, Akintayo Abioye(EPO) among others.

The appointment of Adebowale Falana is seen as a strategic move to invigorate youth development initiatives in Oyo State, with high expectations for positive outcomes under his leadership.
