The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman-elect of Atiba local government, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, has expressed heartfelt congratulations to Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana on his appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.
Wabkem described the appointment of the Director-General and Chairman of the transition committee of Ibadan North PDP as well-deserved and a perfect fit at the right time.
He further acknowledged that Prince Adebowale will project a vibrant youth with well-developed potential for sustainable development in all spheres of life, including economic, social, and political.
The statement reads in part:
“Congratulations to Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana on your well-deserved appointment as the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.
On behalf of the good people of the Royal Council, I congratulate you on your appointment by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE.
Your dedication, loyalty, and absolute belief in projecting the youth constituency have significantly contributed to your appointment by the People’s Governor.
I believe in your capacity to organize and coordinate youth development programs, providing an enabling and empowering environment for youth development.”
Wabkem added that Prince Adebowale’s wealth of experience and dedication to public service will contribute immensely to the vision and sustainable development agenda of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde, by leading the youth in the right direction and thereby contributing significantly to the growth and development of the agency.
As you embark on this new role, I charge you with the positive task of rebuilding the Pacesetter State for greatness, a multifaceted task that involves constructing a formidable identity using the power of the state to unify people of common interests for a common goal.
The golden son of the Royal Council further urged Prince Adebowale to work hand in hand with the Governor in building a strong sustainable development legacy where opportunities abound for everyone and no one is left behind.
Together, we shall build a better and more vibrant Oyo State, preparing the youths for present and future challenges to achieve socio-cultural and economic well-being for selfless service, responsible citizenship, and effective leadership.
