The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has administered the conduct of the Public Service Examination for a record-breaking Five Hundred and Ten Civil/Public Servants across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in the state.
The examination, held on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th January 2024, marks a significant milestone for the state’s commitment to promoting professional development within its public service sector.
Addressing the diverse pool of candidates, the Chairman, Alh Chief Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe JP, urged them to exemplify a high sense of responsibility.
He emphasized the candidates’ integrity and shared his optimism that they would excel, ultimately advancing in their respective cadres and achieving career peaks within the state’s Civil/Public Service.
This milestone marked the first instance of the Civil Service Commission presenting over Five Hundred candidates for the examination.
The examination, handled by the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria in Badagry, holds the promise of determining the candidates’ qualifications and capabilities.
Chairman Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe concluded by extending his best wishes, expressing hope that the candidates would emerge successfully when the results are released.
Fundamentally, Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde, for approving the participation of civil/public servants in the examination.
He described engineer Seyi Makinde as the people’s Governor, striving for the best interests of civil/public servants in the state.
Adding to the significance of the event, all Commissioners, Permanent Secretary, Directors, and Administrative Officers from the Oyo State Civil Service Commission actively participated in monitoring and supervising the examination, underscoring the commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process.
