Chief (Mrs.) Hajia Oluwatoyin Fatimoh Oyegbori-Oluwa has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Soludero and Yeye Soludero, respectively.
The titles were conferred on the Governor and First Lady by the Ibarapa Traditional Council at the palace of the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adedayo Adeagbola.

In her congratulatory message, Chief (Mrs.) Hajia Oluwatoyin described the conferment as a well-deserved and significant honour, noting that it reflects the recognition and appreciation of the Governor and his wife for their contributions to the peace, progress and development of Oyo State.
She noted that in Yoruba culture, traditional titles go beyond ceremonial recognition, as they often represent the acceptance, respect and confidence of traditional institutions and the people in the character and contributions of those being honoured.
According to her, the conferment of Aare Soludero on Governor Makinde and Yeye Soludero on Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde is a testament to the goodwill and respect the Makinde administration and family continue to enjoy among traditional institutions and communities across Oyo State.
Chief (Mrs.) Hajia Oluwatoyin particularly commended the Ibarapa Traditional Council and the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adedayo Adeagbola, for recognising the couple and for their continued commitment to preserving Yoruba culture, values and heritage.

She described the traditional institution as an indispensable pillar of society, especially in promoting peace, unity, communal harmony, cultural preservation and grassroots development.
She further acknowledged the cordial relationship between Governor Makinde’s administration and traditional rulers across Oyo State, describing it as an important factor in fostering peace and creating an enabling environment for sustainable development.
The Oyo Hajj Board member also commended Governor Makinde for his administration’s commitment to improving the lives of residents through investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, economic development and other critical sectors.
She said the latest traditional honour demonstrates that the Governor’s leadership and contributions are being recognised beyond political circles.
Chief (Mrs.) Hajia Oluwatoyin also congratulated Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde on her conferment as Yeye Soludero, describing the honour as a fitting recognition of her support for the Governor and her commitment to humanitarian and social causes, particularly those affecting women, children, families and vulnerable members of society.
She urged the Governor and his wife to see the new titles not only as marks of honour but also as additional calls to service, humility and greater dedication to the people.
She prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife wisdom, good health, strength and divine guidance as they continue to contribute to the growth and development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
She also called on citizens to continue supporting initiatives that promote peace, unity, prosperity and sustainable development across the state.
