The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA), has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development with the rollout of a major solar lighting initiative aimed at improving security, boosting economic activities and enhancing the quality of life across communities in the constituency.
According to supporters of the engineer-turned-politician, Adedeji’s leadership has consistently been defined by community-focused interventions and humanitarian projects even before officially seeking elective office.

They noted that he has funded several developmental and empowerment initiatives from his personal resources, describing his contributions as evidence of a long-standing passion for public service.
As part of his latest intervention, KSA is set to install 50 high-efficiency Vell Max 200-Watt solar floodlights across underserved communities within Ido and Ibarapa East Local Government Areas.
The initiative is expected to improve nighttime visibility, strengthen community security, support local businesses that operate after dark, and create safer environments for residents, particularly market women, students and other road users.
Supporters described the project as another demonstration of Adedeji’s practical approach to development, saying it reflects his commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure through modern and environmentally friendly solutions.

Beyond infrastructure, KSA has also been credited with supporting indigent students, empowering artisans, providing healthcare assistance and executing community development projects across different parts of the federal constituency.
Political associates said his interventions have been driven by compassion and a desire to improve the living conditions of ordinary people rather than political considerations.
They added that, if elected to represent Ido/Ibarapa East in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general election, Adedeji intends to leverage his engineering background and legislative agenda to attract more federal infrastructure projects, promote youth employment, strengthen agricultural value chains in Ibarapa East and improve commercial development in Ido Local Government.
They argued that his record of community service demonstrates his capacity to deliver even greater dividends of democracy with access to federal legislative resources.
The solar floodlight project is expected to commence across selected communities as part of KSA’s broader vision of promoting security, sustainable development and inclusive economic growth throughout the constituency.
