The Allied People’s Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, has felicitated with a prominent community leader and political figure, Alhaja Wulemotu Ibitoye, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the celebration, ADLAT described Alhaja Wulemotu Ibitoye as a woman whose life has been defined by compassion, accessibility and commitment to the people, particularly residents of Akinyele & Lagelu.
The APM candidate said the birthday was not merely an occasion to celebrate another year in the life of the celebrant, but also an opportunity to recognise the impact she had made in the lives of individuals and communities around her.
According to him, Alhaja Wulemotu has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a true mother and community leader, noting that her open-door approach and genuine concern for the welfare of the people had earned her the respect and affection of many.
“Today is more than your birthday; it is a celebration of a life that has touched so many people. Your door is always open, your heart is always welcoming, and your love for the people of Lagelu and Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency has never been in doubt,” Engr Toheeb said.
The APM candidate, who is seeking the mandate of the people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency to represent them in the House of Representatives, expressed gratitude for the encouragement, wisdom and motherly support he had received from leaders such as Alhaja Ibitoye.
He said the guidance and support of experienced leaders remained important to the growth of any political community, adding that their belief in the principles of service, unity and progress continued to inspire younger politicians and aspiring public servants.
Engr Toheeb further praised the celebrant for her courage and calm disposition, as well as her ability to foster unity among people irrespective of their political affiliations or differences.
He described Alhaja Ibitoye as one of the few individuals whose presence consistently promotes peace and togetherness, rather than division.
“I have always admired your courage, your calmness, and the way you bring people together regardless of political differences. You are one of those rare women whose presence unites rather than divides, and our political family is richer because of your selfless contributions,” he added.
The APM candidate said Alhaja Ibitoye’s contributions went beyond politics, describing her as a mother figure to many and a woman whose influence had continued to make a positive difference in the community.
He also expressed optimism that the people of Akinyele and Lagelu could achieve greater development and progress through collective efforts, responsible leadership and a renewed commitment to service.
ADLAT, while congratulating the celebrant, prayed that Almighty Allah would grant her many more years in good health, peace and happiness.
He also prayed for continued divine strength and blessings for the celebrant, asking Allah to reward her for the sacrifices she had made and the contributions she had continued to make towards the wellbeing of the people.
“May He continue to strengthen you, honour you, and reward every sacrifice you have made for our people,” he prayed.
The APM candidate thanked Alhaja Wulemotu for her continued support and for being a mother to many, expressing confidence in the possibility of building a better Lagelu and a more prosperous Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.
He wished the celebrant a happy birthday and prayed for abundant blessings and continued divine protection.
