Throughout this journey, I have made it a point of absolute duty to consistently communicate my personal ideology and structural plans for the governance of our dear Oyo state.
The last few weeks have undoubtedly presented an intriguing picture of political scenarios and evolving events, testing both resolve and strategy within the progressive fold.
Through it all, my profound gratitude goes out to my teeming supporters and party faithful, who have served as my structural backbone and unyielding pillar of strength.
It is your unrelenting belief in this vision that keeps our compass true, and I assure you that we remain steadfastly on course to birth an Oyo State that we will all be immensely proud of.
I wish to state clearly that critical political conversations are currently advancing, and I am actively and rigorously reviewing the immediate realities before me.
My aspiration for the governorship was a decision of pure conviction, taken only after deep intellectual reflection and extensive grassroots consultation—backed by a meticulously researched policy blueprint detailing exactly how we intend to govern, rather than a mere pursuit of a political platform on a platter.
As such, I am completely capable of making highly informed, strategic decisions that protect the overarching interest of our great party and the future of my loyal supporters.
Worthy of note that I have always insisted that every legitimate stakeholder must be actively consulted and involved in decisions that bind us all—particularly concerning our gubernatorial ticket and any consensus arrangements—and I can confirm that ongoing high-level engagements are currently moving in tandem with that inclusive principle.
Consequently, over the next few days, I shall be further deepening my internal consultations and widening my strategic engagements across the length and breadth of our state.
At the conclusion of this brief and reflective phase, I will definitively communicate to my teeming supporters and the dedicated members of our great party, who are eagerly standing by for the primary elections, on how we shall collectively move forward.
Our commitment to a structured and industrialised Oyo State remains absolute, and we will take our next steps with the collective dignity and tactical brilliance that defines true progressives.
