In a display of grassroots leadership and commitment to community development, the Councillor representing Ward 2 in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Olasemo Temitope Oreofe, has provided financial assistance to 35 residents of the ward, cutting across political affiliations.

The empowerment initiative, which took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, during the PDP Ward 2 meeting, was widely applauded for its inclusivity, as beneficiaries were drawn not only from party members but also from non-politicians and residents of differing political leanings.

While distributing envelopes containing cash support to the beneficiaries, Hon. Temitope Olasemo expressed deep appreciation to the people of Ward 2 for their unwavering support, prayers, and loyalty.

The gesture drew commendations from community members, PDP leaders, and stakeholders present at the event, who lauded the councillor for his generosity and responsiveness to the needs of the people.

They offered prayers for his continued success and divine guidance in his political journey.
