











All eleven Ward Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbeda Local Government have declared their full endorsement of the incumbent lawmaker representing Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola, popularly known as Sunky, for a third term in office.



The endorsement was formally communicated in a statement signed and made available to the press by the Chairman of all Ward Chairmen in the local government, Pastor Oladele Samson.
According to him, the decision followed extensive consultations and a thorough assessment of the lawmaker’s performance over the years.
Pastor Samson noted that the Ward Chairmen, after due consideration, found Hon. Babalola worthy of continued support, citing his track record, commitment to constituency development, and responsiveness to the needs of the people.





“We have carefully reviewed his antecedents and engagements as a representative of Egbeda State Constituency.
Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola has demonstrated capacity, consistency, and a deep understanding of legislative responsibilities. He has not only spoken for the people but has ensured that the dividends of democracy are brought back home,” the statement read.
The Chairmen further commended the lawmaker for his performance in the Oyo State House of Assembly, particularly highlighting his contributions to lawmaking and effective representation.
They stressed that his legislative input and constituency projects have had meaningful impact across the wards.
Reaffirming their collective position, the eleven Ward Chairmen declared their unwavering support for his third-term ambition, pledging to mobilize party faithful and grassroots structures to ensure his continued representation.
“We stand united in our decision. The eleven Ward Chairmen in Egbeda Local Government are fully behind Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola. His leadership has earned our trust, and we are committed to ensuring his return for another term,” Pastor Samson added.
The endorsement is seen as a significant boost to Hon. Babalola’s political standing ahead of the next electoral cycle, reflecting strong grassroots backing within the party structure in Egbeda Local Government.
