











The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has been honoured with the revered chieftaincy title of Alagbawi Agbe of Ibadan North Local Government, alongside his recognition as Patron (Baba Egbe Agbe), in appreciation of his outstanding contributions to agricultural development and unwavering support for farmers in the council area.



The conferment, which took place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, drew commendation from stakeholders in the agricultural sector, who lauded the chairman’s proactive policies and consistent efforts at boosting food production, empowering local farmers, and strengthening agribusiness initiatives across Ibadan North.
The organizers noted that Hon. Olufade’s administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to repositioning agriculture as a viable means of livelihood, while also enhancing food security within the local government.
Receiving the honours on behalf of the chairman, the Director of Agriculture in Ibadan North Local Government, Mrs. Akanbi Adeola, expressed deep appreciation to the organisers for the recognition bestowed on the council boss.

Also present at the event was the Ibadan North Local Government supervisory councilor on Agriculture, Hon. Bala Muhammad, who joined the Director of Agriculture in representing the chairman at the ceremony.
