A federal lawmaker in the House of Representatives,
Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide Odidiomo has called on the people of Oyo state to have faith in the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde as he leads the state into another election cycle.
In a message marking the celebration of the Easter season, Olajide felicitated christians in Oyo state and across the world on the occasion of this year’s celebration.
Olajide noted that the significance of the season, which commemorates the crucifixion, death and resurrection of jesus christ, offers a powerful reminder of the virtues of patience and faith even in the face of adversity.
He urged christians to hold on to the lessons of the season, particularly the need to remain steadfast and committed to the ideals of peace and selflessness in their daily lives.
Olajide, who represents Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-west federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives, also used the opportunity to call on citizens to “trust the process” in the ongoing efforts to sustain development and good governance, as the state approach the next electioneering cycle, noting that meaningful progress requires patience, collective support and continuity.
He expressed optimism that Oyo state would continue on a path of growth and stability, urging the people to remain supportive of policies and initiatives aimed at improving their welfare.
“As we celebrate this season, I encourage everyone to keep faith alive and continue to support the present administration.
Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Oyo state that works for all.”
