The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North, Oyo State, Nigeria, and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message released through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, he described Ramadan as a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion, noting that the lessons of the holy month should not end with its conclusion.
According to him, “Ramadan has been a sacred period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and devotion to Almighty Allah.

As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I urge all Muslim faithful to sustain the virtues of love, compassion, unity, and selflessness that the holy month has instilled in us.”

He further prayed that all acts of worship, including fasting, charity, and supplications observed during Ramadan, are accepted by Almighty Allah.
“Eid-el-Fitr is not only a time of celebration but also a moment to reflect on our responsibilities to one another.
Let us continue to live in peace and harmony, while extending kindness and support to the less privileged in our society,” he added.
The council chairman urged adherents of Islam to continue to promote peaceful coexistence and extend kindness to the less privileged, in line with the teachings of the religion.
Olufade also called on residents of Ibadan North and beyond to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr as a time to strengthen bonds of unity and foster communal harmony.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous, peaceful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration, while praying for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Ibadan North Local Government and the state at large.
