In a powerful demonstration of unity and religious tolerance, Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Tosin Alabi, has reaffirmed that religious discrimination has no place in our communities.

Hon. Tosin Alabi, who hails from Ward 4, Aba Oloko in Egbeda Local Government, has once again distinguished himself as a bridge-builder by sponsoring a Ramadan radio programme that will air every Friday until the end of the holy month.

The programme officially commenced yesterday , Friday, February 28, 2026, on I-Flier 103.3 FM, located in Egbeda Local Government within the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency.

The inaugural lecture, titled “Humanity,” was delivered by respected Islamic cleric, Imam Muhideen Hamza Oyebamiji, who used the platform to emphasize the importance of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.

Imam Muhideen lauded Hon. Tosin Alabi’s remarkable gesture, noting that despite being a Christian, he chose to sponsor a Ramadan programme for the Muslim faithful.

According to the cleric, this act clearly sends a strong message that humanity must always come before religious differences.

He stressed that Ramadan is a sacred month during which prayers are answered and hearts are purified.

He offered heartfelt prayers that God grants Hon. Tosin Alabi his heart’s desires and rewards him abundantly for promoting unity and understanding.

Describing the federal house of representative hopeful as young, brilliant, and humble, Imam Muhideen commended Hon. Tosin Alabi for setting an example worthy of emulation by other political leaders.

He stated that leadership should be rooted in compassion, inclusion, and service to all, regardless of religious affiliation.

The cleric further urged residents of Egbeda and Ona Ara to stay tuned every Friday throughout Ramadan for enriching spiritual teachings that will benefit the entire community.

Through this laudable initiative, Hon. Tosin Alabi has once again proven that beyond politics, the true foundation of leadership lies in humanity, unity, and the unwavering belief that irrespective of our religious differences, we are one people.
