







The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across the local government on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released on Thursday, Hon. Olufade described Ramadan as a sacred season of reflection, sacrifice, compassion and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.

He urged the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North to embrace the spiritual significance of the month by deepening their faith, promoting unity and extending love to the less privileged in society.
According to the Chairman, Ramadan presents a unique opportunity for individuals and communities to purify their hearts, strengthen family bonds and recommit to the values of peace, patience and self-discipline.





“Ramadan is a period that teaches us the virtues of sacrifice, tolerance and empathy.
As we begin this holy month, I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ibadan North to use this sacred season to pray for our local government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole,” he stated.
Hon. Olufade further assured residents of his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, people-oriented policies and sustained grassroots development.
He emphasized that the spirit of Ramadan aligns with his government’s vision of service, compassion and impactful leadership.
The Chairman also called on religious leaders to continue preaching messages of harmony and peaceful coexistence, noting that Ibadan North remains a community blessed with religious diversity and mutual respect.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grants all Muslim faithful the strength, good health and spiritual fulfillment required to complete the fast successfully, and that the blessings of Ramadan bring renewed hope and prosperity to every household in Ibadan North Local Government.
“May this holy month bring peace to our homes, progress to our communities and abundant blessings to our land,” Hon. Olufade concluded.
