The Vice-Chairman of Egbeda Local Government Area and Political Head /Administrator of Ajorosun Local Council Development Area, Hon. Amid heartfelt emotions and warm reception, the grassroots politician expressed overwhelming joy as he returned to his alma mater after more than three decades, describing the moment as deeply nostalgic and spiritually fulfilling.

He emphasized that quality education remains the bedrock of any progressive society, noting that the solid academic and moral values he gained from the school played a vital role in shaping him into a respected figure across Egbeda and Oyo State at large.

Reminiscing about his youthful days as a vibrant member of the school band crew, Hon. Oladeebo highlighted how unwavering focus, resilience, and dedication formed the pillars of his personal and professional journey — qualities he urged pupils to cultivate from an early age.

According to him, his return to Brendan Primary School serves as a powerful testament that dreams nurtured in modest classrooms can blossom into impactful leadership.

He noted that the visit stands as a beacon of hope not only to the pupils present but also to students in public schools across all thirty-three local government areas of Oyo State.

The former first Health Prefect of the school passionately encouraged the young learners to remain steadfast in their studies while upholding strong moral values, stressing that integrity and hard work would not only guarantee success but also secure enduring respect within society.

In his words, he explained that his visit was meant to inspire confidence and reinforce the belief that every child possesses limitless potential.

Drawing from his own life journey, he encouraged the pupils to envision themselves as future national leaders, renowned technologists, celebrated artists, influential politicians, and successful entrepreneurs capable of transforming Nigeria’s future.

Hon. Ibrahim oladebo Simple also reaffirmed his commitment to democratic values and grassroots development, urging residents to continue supporting the people-oriented policies of the Seyi Makinde-led administration, which he praised for strengthening critical sectors such as healthcare, education, security, and economic growth across the state.

Earlier in her remarks, the Coordinator of the Catch Them Young Initiative and Bright Lens Media Networks, Mrs. Ayodeni Aluko, appealed to parents and teachers to play active roles in nurturing pupils’ talents through skills development, character building, and practical life experiences that will foster a better Nigerian society.

The impactful event attracted a wide array of stakeholders, including the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Egbeda Chapter, Mr. Oyetunde Oyerinde, alongside educators, community leaders, and parents.

Highlights of the programme included the inauguration of several student clubs, Health, Environment, Press, Security, and JETS Clubs aimed at building leadership capacity and encouraging holistic development among the pupils.
