I have clearly outlined my development blueprint for Oyo State, anchored on jobs, security, education, and inclusive economic growth—pillars that form the foundation of a prosperous, just, and forward-looking society.
Central to this agenda is my firm commitment to establish industrial parks in each senatorial district to drive industrialisation, stimulate local production, and unlock massive employment opportunities. When combined with a comprehensive agricultural reform programme, this initiative will create over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs within the first two years of my administration.
Agriculture remains a critical pillar of my vision for Oyo State. I am fully committed to empowering farmers through the provision of modern agricultural machinery, targeted incentives, and structured support systems that will boost productivity, ensure food security, and significantly improve rural livelihoods across the state.
On security, I remain resolute in my determination to deploy a modern, intelligence-driven security architecture for Oyo State. This will include surveillance cameras across strategic locations, technology-enabled and intelligence-led policing, and strong community collaboration to protect lives and property. A secure Oyo State is non-negotiable.
Education is, and will always remain, the cornerstone of my vision. I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to free and quality education for every child in Oyo State—regardless of background, religion, location, or financial status. Education must never be a privilege reserved for a few; it must be a guaranteed right for all.
My education agenda draws inspiration from proven Western models, particularly parental incentives linked to school enrolment. These policies have increased access to education, reduced dropout rates, strengthened accountability, and improved learning outcomes. With this policy, Oyo State will not only boost enrolment but also generate accurate student data for effective planning, efficient resource allocation, and improved learning outcomes.
Beyond education, my administration will introduce interest-free loans for small and medium-scale businesses, targeting traders, artisans, entrepreneurs, and young business owners. This initiative will stimulate economic growth, expand opportunities, create jobs, and improve livelihoods across the state. I will also ensure prudent and transparent financial management, limit excessive borrowing, and entrench fiscal discipline in governance.
As part of my grassroots engagement ahead of 2027, I have visited a number of APC Local Government leaders and members across Oyo State, where I shared this same vision for a more inclusive, prosperous, and people-centred Oyo State. I will be visiting the remaining Local Governments soonest to deepen consultations, strengthen party unity, and ensure that every community is carried along in this journey.
Across these engagements, I reaffirmed my unwavering belief that leadership must be rooted in service, accountability, integrity, and the fear of God.
All these initiatives—and many more—are comprehensively captured in my policy blueprint, Our Realistic Tomorrow, which presents a clear, practical, and realistic roadmap for repositioning Oyo State through inclusive governance and sustainable development.
To those who have lost hope in our politicians, to those who speak out of pain, frustration, or disappointment, and to those who believe that “they are all the same,” I say this with humility and conviction: do not lose hope. If there will ever be a different kind of leadership, God, in His power, sends leaders at the appointed time. I believe this is such a moment.
God makes people different. We must not close our eyes or our minds to that truth. I am stepping forward not only to redefine governance in Oyo State, but also to serve as a role model for the coming generation—in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
I therefore call on the good people of Oyo State, APC leaders and members, and all stakeholders to support this movement with your prayers, goodwill, and collective strength. I firmly believe that if we walk this journey together, we shall laugh at the end.
