As part of my ongoing grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 governorship election, I visited leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan South West Local Government, where I shared my vision for a more inclusive, prosperous, and people-centred Oyo State.

During the visit, I outlined my commitment to establishing industrial parks in each senatorial district to drive industrialisation, stimulate local production, and create sustainable employment.

Through this initiative, alongside a robust agricultural reform agenda, we aim to create over 100,000 jobs within the first two years of our administration.

I further pledged to boost agriculture by providing modern agricultural machinery, targeted incentives for farmers, and structured support systems that will increase productivity, ensure food security, and improve rural livelihoods.

On security, I reiterated my resolve to provide exceptional and modern security architecture for Oyo State, including the deployment of surveillance cameras across strategic locations, intelligence-driven policing, and strong community collaboration to safeguard lives and property.

Education remains the cornerstone of my vision.

I reaffirmed my firm commitment to free and quality education for every child in Oyo State, stressing that education must never be a privilege for a few but a guaranteed right for all—regardless of background, religion, location, or financial status.

I explained that my education agenda draws inspiration from proven models in the Western world, where parental incentives linked to school enrolment have increased access to education, reduced dropout rates, and strengthened accountability.

With this policy, Oyo State will not only boost enrolment but also generate accurate student data for better planning, efficient resource allocation, and improved learning outcomes.

Beyond education, I unveiled plans to introduce interest-free loans for small and medium-scale businesses, supporting traders, artisans, entrepreneurs, and young business owners, while stimulating economic growth and expanding opportunities across the state.

I also emphasised my commitment to limiting excessive borrowing and ensuring prudent, transparent financial management.

I am convinced that with the fear of God, integrity, transparency, and disciplined leadership, these initiatives are achievable.

Leadership must be rooted in service, accountability, and a sincere commitment to improving the lives of the people.

These and many other transformative initiatives are comprehensively captured in my policy blueprint, Our Realistic Tomorrow, which presents a practical and realistic roadmap for repositioning Oyo State through inclusive governance and sustainable development.

The visit ended on a positive note with donations made to support the local community, reinforcing my belief in leadership that listens, gives back, and stands firmly with the people.

I reassured the leaders and members of APC Ibadan South West of my unwavering commitment to building an Oyo State where opportunity is equal, hope is restored, and the future is secured for all.
