In a sustained effort to deepen grassroots consultation and diaspora inclusion, Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency Hopeful, Board Member, Oyo Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS) and CEO, Hemjay Automobiles, Hon. Mojeed Agbaje, popularly known as Hemjay, has extended his strategic outreach beyond Canada to the United Kingdom, engaging Kishi indigenes, family members, friends, and business associates across major UK cities including Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Northampton.
The series of interactive meetings, which followed a highly successful engagement with Kishi indigenes and stakeholders in Canada, provided a robust platform for sincere and forward-looking discussions on the present realities, challenges, and future aspirations of Kishi and the entire Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency.
Participants openly exchanged ideas, offered constructive feedback, and shared perspectives geared towards sustainable development and inclusive progress.
Central to the engagements was a strong emphasis on unity among Kishi sons and daughters in the diaspora, as well as the urgent need to strengthen the bridge between home and abroad.
Hon. Agbaje stressed that meaningful development can only be achieved when diaspora communities remain actively connected to their roots and committed to contributing ideas, resources, and expertise towards community growth.
During his stay in the United Kingdom, Hon. Agbaje also held a significant meeting with Engineer Maruf Babatunde Kukoyi, a fellow aspirant for the Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency seat.
The meeting, described as both cordial and robust, focused squarely on the development, progress, and collective interest of the community, setting aside personal ambitions in favour of shared responsibility and peaceful political engagement.
Hon. Agbaje expressed deep appreciation to Engineer Kukoyi for his warm reception, openness, and hospitality, noting that the interaction exemplifies a shared commitment to unity, mutual respect, and community advancement, regardless of political differences.
The overwhelming show of support, the quality of feedback received, and the shared vision articulated by Kishi indigenes in the UK have further strengthened Hon. Agbaje’s resolve to serve.
He noted that the engagements have reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation, youth empowerment, and community-driven development, which he described as the pillars of his political aspiration.
Beyond politics, Hon. Agbaje emphasized that the interactions are already laying the groundwork for enhanced collaboration, diaspora mobilization, and collective contributions towards the long-term growth and development of Kishi and the old Irepo Federal Constituency.
