







Oloye Benedict Akika, Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and a prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, has received a delegation of women leaders from Akinyele Local Government Area in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The delegation, comprising women leaders from Wards 1 to 12, was led by the Akinyele Local Government Women Leader, Hon. (Mrs.) Adeleke Adekemi Stella.
The visit was aimed at strengthening party unity and reinforcing the role of women as a critical demographic force in grassroots and mainstream politics.

Speaking during the visit, the women emphasized the strategic importance of female participation in political processes, noting that women remain a formidable pillar in mobilization, voter education, and community development.
They expressed their readiness to offer continuous support to party leaders and called for sustained empowerment initiatives that would further enhance women’s participation and influence in politics.
The delegation reaffirmed their unflinching loyalty to the leader of the PDP in Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, and pledged their continued support to the Peoples Democratic Party in Akinyele Local Government and across the state.
In his response, Oloye Benedict Akika expressed deep appreciation for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of unity, loyalty, and progressive thinking among women leaders in the party.
He commended their dedication to the ideals of the PDP and their steadfast support for the Omituntun agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde.
