The Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Atiba State constituency, Hon. Joseph Gbenga Oyekola, expresses condolences to Oyo residents and the family on the passing of the former ambassador of Nigeria to Zambia and Malawi, the late High Chief Moses Oyedele Ogunmola.

The lawmaker describes the late Otun of Oyo’s death as a great shock, emphasizing that he was a fighter with a gentle spirit, primarily interested in the development of his community and uplifting the downtrodden. He notes that the demise of Chief Ogunmola will be greatly missed.

“Pa Ogunmola was an astute education administrator, a person of inestimable quality, a visionary and innovative leader, and a nation builder. His impact on many lives was characterized by his honesty, sincerity, integrity, devotion, and selfless service.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is the difference we have made in the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
