
As the Nigeria U-20 Women’s National Team, affectionately known as the Falconets, gear up to face Rwanda in the first leg of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier, the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke has extended warm wishes for a successful outing.
In a statement, the Commissioner expressed the state’s readiness to host the second leg of the qualifier, scheduled to take place on September 27 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan. “Here in Oyo State, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, we are fully prepared and eagerly looking forward to hosting the second leg,” the Commissioner said.
The Commissioner assured that the state’s facilities, hospitality, and passionate fans are all set to give the Falconets the home support they deserve as they continue their journey towards World Cup qualification.
