The Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission and esteemed Baale of Lakoto, Osajin, Masoke, Believers Quarters and Environs, Alhaji chief Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe has joined millions of well-wishers across Yorubaland and beyond in celebrating a towering figure of faith, philanthropy, and traditional institution, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (D-Damak), the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, and the Aare of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his glorious birthday.

In a heartfelt message made available to the media by Alhaji Chief Kamoru Aderibigbe, he described Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (D-Damak) as “a man of rare grace whose life continues to radiate compassion, wisdom, humility, and unshakable devotion to the betterment of humanity.”

“Today, we celebrate not just a birthday, but the gift of a lifetime,” Alhaji Chief Kamoru Aderibigbe stated.

The Oyo state Civil Service Commission chairman recalled D-Damak’s sterling contributions to the Muslim Ummah, his philanthropic gestures that have touched countless lives, and his consistent support for the vision of a more inclusive, spiritually upright, and morally guided society.

He particularly noted D-Damak’s generosity during times of need, such as his multi-million-naira intervention in rebuilding affected communities and his uplifting Ramadan initiatives.

According to Alhaji Chief Aderibigbe, “Aare D-Damak’s elevation to the prestigious title of Aare of Ibadanland is a testament to his enduring relevance, not just as a religious leader but also as a cultural bridge-builder whose commitment to communal harmony remains exemplary.”

He prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and divine protection over the life of the celebrant, urging the younger generation to emulate his character and courage in a world thirsting for true servant-leaders.
