

Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, following his installation as the Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by the Deji of Akure, His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
In a statement released on Friday, Hon. Bibire described the honour as a “fitting recognition” of Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to good governance, service to humanity, and exemplary leadership over the years.
“This chieftaincy title is not just ceremonial; it is a bold affirmation of Governor Makinde’s character, values, and his consistent efforts to uplift not only Oyo State but Nigeria at large,” Bibire stated.
He praised the governor’s integrity, humility, and people-centered style of leadership, noting that these attributes have earned him widespread admiration both within and outside the state.
“As someone who works closely with His Excellency, I can confidently attest to his selfless spirit, deep compassion for the people, and visionary approach to leadership.
He is a true Omoluabi in every sense honourable, disciplined, and morally upright,” he added.
The Deputy Chief of Staff expressed optimism that the title of Aare Omoluabi would further strengthen the governor’s resolve to deliver impactful governance and continue to promote unity, peace, and progress across Yorubaland and beyond.
“Governor Makinde’s installation by the Deji-in-Council is a proud moment for all of us in Oyo State.
It underscores the respect and admiration he commands across traditional institutions and among the people.
I wholeheartedly congratulate my Boss and pray that he continues to soar in wisdom and strength,” Bibire concluded.
Governor Makinde was honoured with the chieftaincy title during a special ceremony held at the Deji’s Palace in Akure on Friday, July 18, 2025, where dignitaries from across the Southwest gathered to celebrate his achievements.
