The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Oyo State on Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Adewumi Adeleke, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued in Ibadan on Saturday, Hon. Akinsete described Alhaji Adeleke as “a silent engine room of the PDP whose tactical brilliance, unwavering loyalty, and depth of ideological understanding continue to give our great party a firm footing across the state.”
He lauded the celebrant’s consistent dedication to party building and internal cohesion, noting that Alhaji Adeleke’s role transcends administrative duties and represents a deeper commitment to progressive governance.
“Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke’s strength lies not just in his position but in his values.
He has shown, over time, that leadership is about service, and loyalty is about standing firm even when applause is absent.
His personality has brought stability, fairness, and direction to the party machinery,” Akinsete stated.
He further described the PDP scribe as “a man who brings both emotional intelligence and political clarity to the table,” adding that his ability to navigate complex situations with calmness and strategic foresight has been a blessing to the PDP.
“Our party is fortunate to have someone like Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke — someone who listens more than he speaks, acts more than he brags, and leads with uncommon discipline.
These are virtues that continue to inspire both old and young within the PDP fold,” he added.
Hon. Akinsete also praised Alhaji Adeleke’s devotion to peace-building and grassroots inclusivity, asserting that his inclusive approach to politics is why the PDP remains deeply connected to the people of Oyo State.
“As he marks a new chapter in life, I pray for God’s continued guidance, renewed strength, and greater heights for him in the years ahead,” he said.
