Former Federal House of Representatives aspirant and respected PDP stalwart in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has joined leaders and faithful across Oyo State to celebrate the birthday of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke.
In a goodwill message made available to the press , Hon. Oyeniyi described Alhaji Adeleke as a strategic thinker, loyal party man, and an embodiment of grassroots coordination whose influence continues to deepen the strength of the PDP across the state.
“Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke is not just a party secretary in title; he is the voice that binds, the hands that build, and the mind that charts direction when it matters most,” Hon. Oyeniyi stated.
He praised Alhaji Adeleke’s calm approach to leadership, his organizational skill, and his dedication to the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that his consistent presence and guidance have helped in resolving many political situations behind the scenes.
“As someone who has served at the grassroots and aspired to represent the people at the national level, I understand how important it is to have strong, silent workers who keep the structure standing.
Alhaji Wasiu is exactly that—dependable, strategic, and highly disciplined,” Oyeniyi added.
The former Ward 12 Councilor also used the occasion to acknowledge Alhaji Adeleke’s exemplary humility and sense of duty, saying his style has inspired many young political actors within the PDP fold.
