As Muslims worldwide celebrate the 2025 Eid el-Kabir festival, the Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Egbeda, Ajorosun, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
In a goodwill message made available to the press, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple congratulated Muslim faithful on witnessing yet another Eid el-Kabir, describing it as a spiritually significant celebration that symbolizes obedience, sacrifice, and deep faith in Almighty Allah.
“Eid el-Kabir is not just a festive moment, but a sacred reminder of the total submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to the will of Allah.
As we mark this celebration, I urge all of us to reflect on these virtues and embody them in our daily lives,” he said.
He encouraged residents of Egbeda and Ajorosun to use the occasion to demonstrate love and compassion, particularly toward the less privileged, while promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.
“Let this celebration be a time for community bonding, kindness, and reaching out to the vulnerable in our midst.
As we share meals and joy, let us also share hope and support with our neighbors,” he added.
Hon. Oladebo Simple also used the occasion to call for prayers for peace, stability, and development across Oyo State and Nigeria. He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership and sustainable progress in Egbeda Local Government and Ajorosun LCDA.
“On behalf of my family, the leadership of Egbeda Local Government, and Ajorosun LCDA, I wish all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid.
