As Nigeria marks the annual Children’s Day celebration, the Executive Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has extended warm felicitations to children across Egbeda, Ajorosun, Oyo State, and the nation at large.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, Ibrahim Oladebo Simple described children as the “light of every home, the heartbeat of communities, and the hope of a brighter Nigeria.”
He emphasized the importance of creating a nurturing and secure environment that enables children to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
“Children are the future of our communities. Their dreams, laughter, and curiosity remind us of the limitless potential within them.
We must ensure they grow up in an environment that encourages learning, instills values, and protects their rights,” he said.
Hon. Oladebo also called for greater collaboration among government, parents, and community stakeholders in providing children with quality education, access to healthcare, and platforms that promote their voices and creativity.
“As leaders, we must prioritize child-centered development. As a local government administrator, I remain committed to championing initiatives that uplift the lives of our young ones and secure a better tomorrow,” he added.
He further encouraged parents and guardians to continue playing active roles in the moral and intellectual upbringing of their children, noting that every child, regardless of background deserves equal opportunity to succeed.
