The Entrepreneurship Investment & Product Fair, organized by KRP FEMA and funded by SOS Children’s Villages, came to a successful close in Ibadan with a grand exhibition and pitching competition involving ten cooperative groups formed by youths trained during the initiative.

Acting as the Chief Judge of the pitching competition, the Chairman of the Kunle Awotiku Foundation, Amb. Dr. Kunle Awotiku, commended the participants for their innovation and resilience.

He encouraged all the contestants to continue improving their skills and striving for excellence in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Four cooperative bodies emerged as winners of the pitch competition and were awarded ₦1 million in total to establish and grow their ventures.


Additionally, two other groups received support from FAMALL, including a ₦50,000 cash gift and FAMALL product packages.

Further contributions came from the Kunle Awotiku Foundation, which offered a free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) business registration slot to a budding entrepreneur and assisted one cooperative body in registering their business name with the CAC.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Awotiku emphasized the importance of customer feedback and consistent patronage in building sustainable businesses.

He pledged continued support for youth entrepreneurs through mentorship, funding, and opportunities for growth.
The event showcased products and services from hundreds of youth entrepreneurs who had undergone extensive training and received certification through the program.
It marked a significant step in empowering young people in Ibadan to become economically self-reliant.
