The Alepata of Igboholand and Paramount Ruler of Oorelope Local Government, Igboho, Oba Dr. Joel Olawuwo, has congratulated Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary in the federal civil service .
Oba Olawuwo, in a statement released by the palace and personally signed by him, described the appointment of Alhaji Adeladan as a great development for Igboholand and Oyo State.
He appreciated the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for appointing Adeladan, who he described as the pride of Igboholand and a golden son of Oke Ogun.
According to the Alepata, who is the Permanent Chairman of the Oorelope Local Government Council of Obas and Chiefs, the appointment did not come as a surprise, as Alhaji Adeladan has proven his mettle as a hard working and goal-oriented civil servant over the years.
The statement read: “I, Oba Dr. Joel Olawuwo, the Alepata of Igboholand and Permanent Chairman of the Oorelope Local Government Traditional Council, on behalf of myself and the Council, congratulate a worthy son of Igboholand and our pride, Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan, on his appointment as a Permanent Secretary by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We are not surprised that your hard work and dedication have been rewarded, as you have always proven your mettle as a dedicated, focused and goal-oriented civil servant.
“Your appointment is a source of joy to me personally and to the people of Igboholand, knowing how you have been a golden son of the land, doing all your best to see to its uplift.
