Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has hailed the appointment of Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.


Adeladan’s appointment was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier in the week.


Makinde, who congratulated the newly-appointed Permanent Secretary, an indigene of Igboho in Oorelope Local Government Area, said his diligence and hard work have brought him this far.


He charged Adeladan to continue to be a good ambassador of Oyo State, noting that his appointment as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil was another testament to the excellence that Oyo State has always be renowned for as the Pacesetter State.


The governor said: “The news of the appointment of Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service by the President comes as a heart-warming one.


“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Oyo State, I congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment, which is a testament to his hard work and diligence.


“I encourage him to continue to remain steadfast and to keep representing Oyo State as its ambassador by demonstrating excellence, patriotism and loyalty to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


“It is my prayer that God will grant him the wisdom and all resources needed to succeed in this new role.”
