In a drive to promote creativity and entrepreneurship among young Nigerians, Amos Adejobi, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member with state code OY/24A/7392, has embarked on a transformative project to empower secondary school students in Ibadan North Local Government with tie-dye training.

Serving at Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, Adejobi launched the Tie-Dye Training Initiative as part of his Community Development Service (CDS).

His goal is to train 500 students across 10 public schools in the area, equipping them with hands-on experience in textile design, a skill that fosters self-reliance and economic independence.

Since the initiative’s launch, 50 students have already benefited from the training, with all materials provided free of charge.

Many of the participants have expressed enthusiasm and a desire to turn their new skills into a business venture.

“The excitement among the students has been overwhelming. Some of them are already considering starting small-scale businesses with the knowledge they have gained,” Amos Adejobi said.

Call for Support
To reach his 500-student target, Adejobi is seeking sponsorship and support from well-meaning individuals, corporate organizations, and government agencies.

Support is needed for materials, incentives, and logistics. Sponsors will enjoy brand visibility and recognition through media coverage, training materials, and community engagement.

“I believe in the power of skill acquisition to transform lives.

With adequate support, we can expand this program and create a lasting impact on these students, helping them become self-reliant and innovative,” he added.

Join the Movement
Adejobi is calling on philanthropists, businesses, and government agencies to support this noble cause and invest in the future of young Nigerians.
